What kind of Information do ‘Here If You Need Lactation’ need

As part of continuous high quality midwifery care – midwifery records are kept of each visit, phone call, email or text message.

We only collect information that is reasonably necessary for the proper performance of our activities or functions. In the occasions upon which we will require your personal information, we will ask you for it. That information will normally be collected when you seek to enquire about or purchase our products and services.

We may collect the following types of information from you: 

• (Identity Information) name, location, website address, date of birth, nationality, employment details and third-party usernames;

• (Contact Information) email address, social media profiles, telephone & fax number, third-party usernames, residential, business and postal addresses;

• (Behaviour Information) habits, movements, trends, decisions, webpage views, online activity, associations, memberships, finances, purchases;

• (Internet Data) Internet Protocol or “IP address“, referring web site addresses, browser type, operating system, domain name, access times and other data typically collected by analytics services like Google Analytics; and

• (Business Information) business or project, if it is run in your personal capacity, including information on professional affiliations or services offered.

• (Other) any other information you may provide to us e.g. information that is necessary to deliver our services and respond to your queries, details of services we have provided to you or you have enquired about, information provided in customer surveys, information provided directly or indirectly through the use of our services.

Contact Forms

Contact forms are sent to us via email. These emails are stored electronically within our secure server. Please note that email is not encrypted and any information sent through our contact forms is not completely secure so please do not send personal or sensitive information via our contact forms.

Third Parties

Where reasonable and practicable to do so, we will collect your Personal Information only from you. However, in some circumstances we may be provided with information by third parties. In such a case we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are made aware of the information provided to us by the third party.

Here If You Need Lactation will not charge any fee for your access request.

In order to protect your Personal Information, we will require identification from you before releasing the requested information.

Complaints

If you wish to make a complaint about our handling of your personal information, you should first make that complaint to us in writing using the contact details set out above. You can also make complaints to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Intellectual Property

Content means all content included in or on the Website (including, but not limited to, text, design, graphics, photos, images, sounds, music, videos, and code and any arrangement of those things) which is owned by Lauren Amy Norman or licensed to 'Here If You Need Lactation'. 

‘Here If You Need’ Availability

Business Days means Monday to Friday except public holidays in Melbourne, Victoria. Daytime Support means the hours between 7am and 7pm. 

Follow Up Period means five Business Days during the hours of 7 am to 7 pm after a Home Visit. 

Fair Use Policy means up to 3 text messages per day during the Follow Up Period. The Follow Up Support Period means advice, troubleshooting, resources and plans offered by text after the Home Visit or Phone Consultation.

Bookings

By making a Booking, you will be deemed to have accepted these Terms in full, and they will constitute a legally binding contract between 'Here If You Need Lactation' and you. Accordingly, if you do not agree with any part or all of these Terms you should not make any Bookings for the Services.

'Here If You Need Lactation' may amend these Terms from time to time for legal, practical or improvement purposes. Each time you make a Booking it is your responsibility to review these Terms and inform yourself of any changes.  If you access or make a Booking for any of the Services after any amendments are published on the Website, you are taken to have agreed to those amendments.

Bookings may be made as an Online Booking or a Phone Booking.

In relation to Online Bookings, you acknowledge that:

The Online Booking System (Cliniko) is hosted and administered by a third-party provider and not by 'Here If You Need Lactation'.

Cliniko does not guarantee that the Online Booking System will be available 24 hours a day 7 days a week or that it will be free from errors, viruses or other harmful components. 'Here If You Need Lactation' will not be liable if the Online Booking System is unavailable at any time due to maintenance, whether planned or unplanned, or for any other reason.

Payment

Here If You Need Lactation reserves the right to:

Cancel a Booking for which payment could not be processed, even where the client has been unable to be notified of the payment failure, provided reasonable efforts to contact you have been made.

If accounts remain unpaid by day 7 after consultation a 10% late payment surcharge will be applied. If accounts remain unpaid by day 14 a 50% late payment surcharge will be applied. 

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your consultation with 'Here If You Need Lactation' after the Booking has been made and payment processed, contact 'Here If You Need Lactation' for a full refund, provided the cancellation is requested by no later than 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the cancelled consultation. 

If, due to unforeseen circumstances, Lauren from 'Here If You Need Lactation' is unable to provide the Service, 'Here If You Need Lactation' will advise you of the situation at the earliest opportunity. In that situation, if you have pre-paid for the Service, 'Here If You Need Lactation' will provide you with your choice of: 

• a refund for Fees the Service that 'Here If You Need Lactation' was unable to provide;

• a credit which can be set off against Fees for future Bookings.

Here If You Need Lactation will not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by you as a direct or indirect consequence of Lauren Norman’s inability to provide the consultation.

Home Visit Regulations

Here If You Need Lactation, be mindful of respecting your family culture and way of living.

You agree that your conduct must, at all times, be respectful and courteous to Lauren Norman and to other members of your household during the consultation.

If, at any time, Lauren Norman is subjected to, or witnesses, disrespectful, offensive, unlawful or argumentative or violent behaviour that causes Lauren Norman to feel uncomfortable or unsafe, Lauren Norman will leave the premises and 'Here If You Need Lactation' will cancel the Booking and no refunds will be offered.

You acknowledge and agree that 'Here If You Need Lactation' is subject to and is required to comply with mandatory reporting laws in relation to child abuse.

Cookies

A “cookie” is a small text file placed on your computer by a web server when you access a website. The cookie identifies the computer being used, but not individual user.  Like many other websites, the Website uses cookies to make a record of your visit to the Website, and will record the following information:

• your server address;

• your top level domain name;

• the date and time of access to the Services;

• the pages accessed and documents downloaded;

• the previous website visited; and
